Great MLM Prospecting Is More Than Just Showing Your Business Plan

 

 

 To Be Successful In Your MLM Prospecting You Have To Know How To Approach Each Of The 4 Different Personality Types

MLM Prospecting is a necessity when it comes to building your MLM business…..I mean it is CRUCIAL! However, it needs to be noted that there are 4 main personality types that you need to be aware of.

In the next series of articles, I will go through each of the 4 of these prospect personality types in detail and describe not only what makes each of these tick, but also how you can relate to them and turn these mlm prospects into new business partners.

Now some people refer to these personalities as Fire, Ice, Wind, Water or Red, Blue, Green, Yellow or even Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring. However, it doesn’t matter how you equate the type to any of these, the fact remains that the traits remain pretty much the same for each. Also, some people have a combination of these traits; I call this bleeding personalities, so keep that in mind.

Remember that MLM prospecting isn’t all about the prospect talking and you just answering, but also you taking some control and asking questions as well. Not everyone is going to want to join you nor are you wanting them on your team. Try and mirror your prospect as best you can, but know what to look for!

The first personality type I want to talk about in this article is…

 

MLM Prospecting  - The Fire Personality

The first thing you need to know about these people is that they are extremely motivated by MONEY. If there is a buck to be made or an avenue to make money, these types are going to find it!

Secondly, these personality types HATE bosses and being told what to do. If they see a reason in their mind not to do something because it interferes with their vision, they will incinerate the rules and rebel. They are also Extremely Impatient and will talk over you if you don’t get to the point or start to bore them. I am guilty of this trait, I must confess.

Keep in mind, these aren’t bad people, they are just no-nonsense, head strong individuals!

So, how do you turn these combustible personalities into an MLM Prospecting advantage?

First, Talk about the MONEY. Start out talking about your company’s compensation plan and let them see the how they can make an obscene amount of cash quickly. Talk about the Bonuses, the Residuals and if possible, connect these people to someone in your upline or crossline who is also a fire personality; these people tend to respond to Leadership, so make sure you can connect them with someone who can mirror their desire to make money.
